Training
A native of Juiz de Fora (MG), he began his violin studies in 2003 at the Centro Cultural Pró-Música, where he worked as concertmaster, soloist, and teacher. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Violin from UNIRIO (2013), in the class of master Paulo Bosísio, a Postgraduate degree in Chamber Music from FABEL (2015), a Master's degree in Music from UFRJ (2023), and a Postgraduate degree in Orchestral and Choral Conducting from FACONNECT (2025).
Awards and Highlights
Winner of the 14th Paulo Bosísio National String Competition, he also received the edition's special award. In 2009, he participated as concertmaster of the Brazilian orchestra invited to the Eurochestries Festival in France, also acting as concertmaster of the festival orchestra. In 2025, he was awarded the Outstanding Conductor prize by the Claude Brendel Academy (Brasília/DF) and in 2026, in recognition of his outstanding performance in the Masterclass of Conducting Arias & Recitatives of Opera of the Arujaense Experimental Orchestra, he received the title of Associate Conductor for the three-year period 2027-2029 of this artistic group (Arujá/SP).
Artistic Performance
He served as concertmaster of the OSB Jovem (2010–2011) and the UNIRIO Symphony Orchestra (2010–2013), where he also performed as a soloist. He was a guest violinist with the Brazilian Symphony Orchestra (2010, 2016 and 2017) and the Petrobras Symphony Orchestra (2011–2023), in addition to being a member of the Rio de Janeiro Municipal Theatre Symphony Orchestra in the 2011, 2012 and 2013 seasons.
He stands out as a soloist in various ensembles, including the Villa-Lobos String Camerata (2011–2020), where he also served as concertmaster and conductor. With the National Symphony Orchestra (UFF), he performed as soloist (2017 and 2024), second violin section leader (2016–2017), concertmaster (2018–2021) and is currently returning to the position of second violin section leader (2026).
She also performed as a soloist with the Symphony Orchestra at the 25th International Festival of Brazilian Colonial Music and Early Music, and in concert with the Volta Redonda String Orchestra (2024).
Performance as Conductor
He was Artistic Director of the Juiz de Fora Orchestra (2018–2020), Principal Conductor of the Grota Orchestra (2022–2023) and of the ASM Brasil Youth Orchestra (2024). In 2025, he distinguished himself as a guest conductor of the Fluminense Philharmonic Orchestra and the Rio de Janeiro Social Orchestra.
Academic and Pedagogical Performance
He taught violin at the Instituto Tocando em Você (2014–2016) and at the Projeto Aprendiz – Niterói (2014–2015). He was a professor at the Festival Conexões Musicais (UFF/UNIRIO), the Festival de Música de São Gonçalo and, between 2018 and 2024, at the Summer Course of the Grota String Orchestra.
Media and Special Projects
He participated in recording the soundtrack for the film Gonzaga: From Father to Son (2012) and in TV Globo productions, including the Roberto Carlos special (2015 and 2016), The Voice Kids, the soap opera Haja Coração and the program Encontro com Fátima Bernardes.
In 2019, he was Director of the Chamber Music Division of the UFF Arts Center, responsible for organizing concerts at the UFF Theater and the UFF Art Cinema, as well as the institutional management of the UFF String Quartet and the UFF Early Music group.
Advanced Training in Conducting
Since 2024, he has been taking regular orchestral conducting lessons with Maestro Claudio Cruz. In 2025 and 2026, he participated in important courses and festivals, such as the 42nd Curitiba Music Workshop, the Claude Brendel Academy (Brasília), the 6th Encuentro de los Mundos (São Paulo), the XII Gramado in Concert, the II FEMUSIK, Orchestral Conducting Workshops of the Goiás Philharmonic Orchestra and Conducting Laboratories of the Minas Gerais Philharmonic Orchestra, in addition to workshops and masterclasses with relevant Brazilian orchestras, having throughout this journey important mentors in the art of orchestral conducting, such as conductors Fábio Mechetti (Brazil), Neil Thomson (England), Pawel Pryztocki (Poland), Linus Lerner (Brazil), Claude Brendel (France), Alessandro Sangiorgi (Italy), Abel Rocha (Brazil) and conductors Jhoanna Sierralta (Venezuela) and Cínthia Alireti (Brazil).
Current Role
Currently, he is the Principal Conductor and Artistic Director of the Oriba Orchestra, Principal Conductor of the Fernando Brasil Orchestra, violinist — leader of the 2nd violin section of the National Symphony Orchestra (OSN-UFF), member of the Trio Corcovado, and violin teacher.
